A bubble of rural land practically unaltered in the meddle of the urban area, which is restricted on all sides. Within the scope, we have isolated and scarce buildings, where the vast majority are agricultural lands, some of which are in disuse.

The aim is to intervene in accordance with the territory, producing as little alteration as possible, but giving the area the possibility of remaining in time.

The territory has a parceled structure, with rights of way and paths, typical of rural areas. We start from the idea of connecting the two sides of the area in a pedestrian way, favoring the transit form one campus to the other.

In the lower part, taking advantage of the pre-existing quarry, another equipment is proposed for university use as well as for the rest of the population. A series of platforms are generated to accompany the slope and to produce the minimum visual impact in order to have the feeling that the territory is still continuous.

The planes are gently raised to generate the facilities and the rest of the territory is linked in an organic way, always relying on the existing plots, paths and topography, thus generating the project as an extension of the contemporary.

The two planes that resolve the territory in the lower part of the area become the pool covers. As if it were an excavation, the stands and the pool are carved. The path is understood as a continuous spiral descent behind the stands, which leads to the changing rooms and ends up going down to the facilities floor.

The geometry accompanies the whole proposal, without vertices, always with straight lines subtle curvces. The pavement also accompanies the turn and always focuses on the pool, which appears and disappears but always remains the protagonist.

The ramp unfolds along the route to generate the two gym platforms, wrapped by the same skin that forms the entire enclosure. The changing rooms are generated as a path: an indirect entrance, passage through lockers, changing area, bathrooms and finally the showers.

The main roof will not be passable, it will have a vegetal character to fit in with the enviroment. The walkable roof will be twinned with it, but without touching it at its intersection, always allowing the continuity of the vegetacion throughout the plane. The walkable part will allow the descent form de upper one of the zone, and will consist of two descents, one directed towards leisure time and walks and the other one more directly towards the equipment.

The sports facility, of an Olympic nature, has a capacity of 450 people in the stands, 150 in the gymnasium and 250 people in the swimming pool.
